The popularity of Breathwork is exploding and you’ve either just started hearing about Breathwork or you’ve had the pleasure of discovering it on your own. The only true way of knowing the power of Breathwork is to experience it for yourself.

Trying to explain the feeling you have after a Breathwork session is like trying to explain a kaleidoscope to a blind person…virtually impossible!

But let me try to explain the unexplainable since you are here:

WHAT IS BREATHWORK?

“Breathwork is like 20 years of therapy in 1 night without saying a word.”

BREATHWORK is a highly effective and powerful tool for accessing the subconscious mind and releasing any stored memories, emotions, stagnant energy, and trauma that might be trapped in the body.

These energetic blockages hinder our spiritual growth, drain our energy, and affect our physical and mental well-being, which can eventually evolve from fatigue into dis-ease or illness.

By oxygenating the entire body using a very specific Breathwork technique, we are able to tap into the unconscious parts of the body where these blockages reside in the form of stagnant energy (see how this is possible below).

BREATHWORK 101

There are many names for Breathwork and it can get a bit confusing. You may have heard these terms before – “Rebirthing Breathwork”, “Transformational Breathwork”, “Shamanic Breathwork”, or “Clarity Breathwork”.  Breathwork is simply the umbrella term used for these various types of breathing practices.

Many modern-day gurus claim fame through Breathwork, but the truth is it’s a practice originating from India that’s been around for thousands of years with a very long history. It’s a modernized form of Pranayama, the formal practice of controlling the breath, which is the source of our prana, or vital life force energy.

BREATHWORK STYLES

WHAT BREATHWORK LOOKS LIKE

Breathwork is done lying down on your back on a yoga mat in a comfortable position. Music is played for motivation and relaxation purposes in order to help release trapped emotions by tapping into the energy and emotion of those particular songs.

Kurtis guides you through this entire process using powerful motivational messages and NLP techniques to help break up old neuropathways of the brain.

BREATHWORK MISCONCEPTIONS

If you think you’ve never tried Breathwork before or think you may have but you’re not sure, then you probably haven’t. The most common reaction of people who take my class is, “WOW, that wasn’t what I was expecting!” It’s a powerful and profound experience that shouldn’t be compared to “Yoga Breathing”, “Kundalini Breathing”, “Alternate Nostril Breathing”, “Breath-of-Fire”, or any other form of breathing practices aforementioned.

Although Breathwork is a constant loop of deep breathing, it’s NOT Hyperventilating. Hyperventilating is when you exhale more oxygen than you’re taking in. The intention and goal of Breathwork is the opposite; to take IN as much oxygen as possible.

WHEN SHOULD I START?

“One day” or Day One!? The choice is yours. We all procrastinate, but if you want your life to change, then you have to change your life! It’s that simple! Procrastination is like masturbation, in the end, we just end up screwing ourselves! We can’t expect new results if we’re not willing to try new things. The Universe won’t do it for you, it will only meet you halfway. All you need to do is SHOW UP!

If you’ve already experienced Breathwork then you know Breathwork is different for everybody, and every time you practice Breathwork you’ll have a totally different experience.

WHAT TO EXPECT

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?

Unresolved emotions from the past, unhealthy beliefs, and negative thought patterns sabotage our current joy, and drain our life force energy. This is what many refer to as “baggage”, which is something we ALL carry with us and bring into all of our relationships (personal and professional).

Over the years we accumulate these emotional traumas, stresses, failures, rejections, old heartbreaks, and financial burdens that ultimately create ‘unconscious’ habits that bleed into our daily lives.
